The Halfway House has enjoyed two very welcome and unexpected compliments in the past few weeks. Finland’s top selling newspaper published a supplement devoted to the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe and has recommended The Halfway House as the city’s top pub and place to visit when you’re not at a show while the pub has also been given a special mention in Easyjet’s in-flight magazine. Afraid we can’t remember the name of the Finnish newspaper, which we were shown by a customer (their English was better than our Finnish) but we’d like to thank the people at Easyjet for giving us a mention. We’d also like to thank all those customers aho have come in to see us as a result of these two complimentary comments.
